Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Down To Party!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Veke Purha!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Purha is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Down To Party.
It looks like Veke Purha has been cut.
Down To Party throws a shot from downtown. Purha moves away and avoids it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Down To Party crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Purha - the referee stops the clock and Down To Party gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Purha. Down To Party manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

It looked like Down To Party wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Down To Party connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Purha has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Purha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Down To Party has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Purha.
We've been told by Down To Party's head coaches at Magis that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Down To Party throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Down To Party throws out a leg kick but Purha moves out of range and Down To Party only half commits.
No joy there for Down To Party, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Veke Purha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
