The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luvsky lands with a shot to the body.
Luvsky tries to clinch up but Arshavin circles away and keeps his distance.
Luvsky pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Arshavin back to the cage. Luvsky follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Arshavin throws a body shot but no joy.

and Arshavin counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Luvsky ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Luvsky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Luvsky is breathing heavily.
Arshavin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Luvskys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Arshavin shoots in and bounces Luvsky off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Luvsky scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Luvsky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Luvsky gets caught napping as Arshavin dives in and scores a takedown. Luvsky manages to retain guard.
Arshavin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Arshavin's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Arshavin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luvsky is looking to get back to full guard here but Arshavin has managed to pass to side control instead.

Arshavin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Luvsky knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
