The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tyson gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith sends Tyson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smith is motioning to the referee to let Tyson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Mike Tyson has been cut.
Tyson walks straight into a right hand from Smith - that's dropped him! Smith jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tyson from any more punishment! Tyson complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
