The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Prodigy throws out a leg kick but Blahyi moves out of range and The Prodigy only half commits.
Blahyi is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in The Prodigy's half guard.
Blahyi is working for a submission of some sort.
Blahyi moves nicely into side control.
The referee asks Blahyi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Blahyi prefers to stall for the moment though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Prodigy tries to bench press Blahyi off him but Blahyi keeps the position.
The Prodigy is working hard here to advance position.
Blahyi has an Americana. The Prodigy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Blahyi is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Blahyi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
