Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arlovski closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Arlovski wants to pass the guard but gein is defending well.
gein is trying to stand up here but Arlovski is controlling him well.

Arlovski had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. gein is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Arlovski Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take gein's back instead.

Arlovski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but gein pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Arlovski wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

gein is looking to control Arlovski's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can gein avoid being mounted?
gein is refusing to be controlled, as Arlovski sits in half guard.
Arlovski is pressing down on gein's thigh, looking to free his foot. gein is holding on for now.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Arlovski takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Arlovski gets a takedown into half guard.
Arlovski keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Let's hope that Arlovski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Arlovski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
