Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ichi Yakuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza comes to the cage accompanied by The Legend of Zelda, Overworld. Harrison has chosen The Warrior Song as his entrance music. Chuck Harrison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 33 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichi Yakuza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chuck Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Chuck Harrison has been cut.

Yakuza has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Werewolf's cave in the buildup to the fight.

Harrison ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Harrison no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harrison tries to score a body lock takedown but Yakuza shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Harrison lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Harrison is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yakuza defends well.

Harrison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Yakuza is aware though and is defending well.
Harrison throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Harrison is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Harrison manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harrison can do anything to dispel that myth.

Yakuza sets himself, and Harrison steps forward looking for the clinch! Yakuza avoids it this time.

Yakuza throws a head kick but Harrison moves out of range.
And Harrison tries to counter it with a takedown but Yakuza pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Despite the aggression on Harrison's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Harrison unleashes a big counter combination but Yakuza bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Yakuza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harrison changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Yakuza sets himself, and Harrison steps forward looking for the clinch! Yakuza avoids it this time.

and Harrison counters with a takedown into side control.

Harrison has hold of Yakuza's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Yakuza tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Harrison cranks the arm and Yakuza screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Yakuza, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Chuck Harrison!
A victorious Chuck Harrison thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
Ichi Yakuza spoke after the fight, saying 'This has not been honorable. Seppuku!'.
