Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oshan Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Curtin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Oshan Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Curtin!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtin misses with a takedown attempt - Jackson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson works over Curtin's head and body with a nice combination.
Jackson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Curtin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily.

Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Curtin sneaks out the side door and pushes Jackson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A combination from Jackson does no damage.
Jackson connects with the punch.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Curtin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jackson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Curtin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.

Oshan Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sam Curtin.

Jackson drives through with a takedown into Curtin's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Jackson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Jackson lands a couple of elbows.
Jackson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Jackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Curtin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Curtin is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jackson is aware though and is defending well.

Curtin has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle.
Jackson is in close to Curtin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jackson stays in close to Curtin's body and controls the position.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Curtin wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Curtin is rocked!
Jackson is working Curtin over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Curtin is still in real trouble! Can Jackson finish him?
Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Curtin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Curtin seems to have recovered his senses.
Jackson with a flurry of punches that miss.

Curtin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Curtin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jackson continues to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oshan Jackson dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Curtin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jackson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Curtin can do to turn this around?
A shot to the liver by Jackson. Beautiful body shot.
Curtin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Curtin moves out of range.

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Curtin's guard.
Curtin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jackson's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Curtin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jackson scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Jackson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jackson lands in his opponent's guard.
Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jackson loads up on a big left hand. Curtin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jackson looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Curtin can't hide his disappointment, as Jackson celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oshan Jackson!
