The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Hercules looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thomas is fending him off so far but Hercules persists. Nope, Thomas circles away and we're back to standing.

Hercules is trying to pull guard but Thomas turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Dai Thomas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hercules shoots in looking for a takedown. Thomas tries to sprawl out of it but Hercules keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Thomas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hercules is breathing heavily.

Hercules throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Thomas's waist but Thomas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hercules off to one side.
Thomas will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Hercules is rocked!
Hercules gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Thomas gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
