The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Ramirez misses its intended target.
Jones goes for a double leg but Ramirez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Ramirez continues to drive forward.
Jones gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Ramirez is holding on here and Jones must be using up a lot of energy. Ramirez has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jones gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
