Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Groundbreaking News (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donal Shine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). News's entrance music is Imma Playa, Tech N9ne. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shine throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around News's waist but News gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shine off to one side.
News looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Shine might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control News haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
News really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Shine has control of News's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and News regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The referee warns News that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

I would just about give that final round to Donal Shine.
Well News has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
