The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomasar fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mason could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Tomasar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mason gets tackled into the cage by Tomasar. Tomasar maintains the clinch.

Mason shoots in and bounces Tomasar off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mason drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tomasar manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mason has Tomasar in his guard.
Tomasar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tomasar wants to stand but Mason has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Tomasar is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Let's hope that Tomasar has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Tomasar has his foot on Mason's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mason works his way back into a safe position though.

Tomasar lands a couple of good shots and Mason has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Tomasar has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Mason is in real trouble here. Tomasar gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Mason is tapping out! Tomasar wins by rear naked choke!
