Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kris Bradford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bamidele Abimbola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Abimbola's choice of entrance music: African Warrior. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Kris Bradford!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bamidele Abimbola!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abimbola gets caught napping as Bradford dives in and scores a takedown. Abimbola manages to retain guard.
Bradford distracts Abimbola with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Abimbola has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bradford can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bradford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Abimbola has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bradford uses from the top position.
Bradford is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bradford is looking to work some ground and pound but Abimbola has wrist control.
Bradford wants to get up but he can't break Abimbola's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Abimbola does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bradford has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bradford there as he acknowledges the shot.
Abimbola misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bradford just misses with a punch to the body.
Abimbola throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bradford tries to counter by clinching up but Abimbola breaks away and moves out of range.
Abimbola loads up on a big right hand but Bradford slips the punch.
Bradford wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Bradford shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bradford was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bradford is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Abimbola will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Kris Bradford will probably get the nod.

Bradford's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Abimbola is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bradford defends it well.

Bradford takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Abimbola looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Abimbola throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bradford on the side of the head.

Bradford is rocked!
Abimbola cracks Bradford with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Bradford falls to his knees and Abimbola doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bamidele Abimbola!
Bamidele Abimbola tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
