The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booker throws a nice looking combination but Franklin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Booker swinging wilding here.
Franklin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Booker throws a series of punches but Franklin moves out of range.
Franklin lands with an overhand left.
Booker throws a combination that misses
and Franklin counters with a good low kick that Booker was not able to check.
Franklin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Booker throws an overhand right that lands on Franklin's shoulder, as Franklin tries to avoid the shot.
Franklin throws a left that rocks Booker and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Franklin dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Booker regain composure!

Booker is rocked!

It looks like Pat Booker has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Booker tries to escape but Franklin is in control.
Oh Booker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Franklin stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Booker seems to have got his legs back now.
Franklin lands a jab to the head.
Franklin jabs Booker right on the nose. Booker blinks but takes it well.
Franklin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The crowd cheers as Franklin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Booker doesn't seem phased though.
Franklin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Booker.
Franklin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Booker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Booker is breathing heavily.
Franklin walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Booker drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Franklin swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Booker's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
