Piechocki goes for a double leg but Delamitri avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Delamitri continues to drive forward.

Piechocki shoots in looking for a takedown but Delamitri manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Piechocki 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Piechocki on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Delamitri looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Piechocki with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Delamitri lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Piechocki quite badly. Piechocki pulls Delamitri in close trying to recover. Delamitri postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Piechocki on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Piechocki doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Delamitri!
After winning the bout, David Delamitri thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
