The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martins fails with a takedown attempt.

Ooe darts in and clinches Martins up against the cage.
Ooe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Martins backwards.
Ooe is leaning against Martins and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Ooe is working Martins over against the cage.
Martins tries a body shot but Ooe blocks it.

Ooe pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ooe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Martins.
Martins shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Iago Martins. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Martins.
Martins shoots in for a takedown but Ooe shows good takedown defense.
Ooe lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Martins circles away quickly and effectively.
Ooe misses with a few strikes there.
A punch combination from Ooe misses.
Martins tries to counter with a takedown but Ooe is quick to defend against it.
Ooe throws a one two combo.
Martins fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Martins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ooe pinned against the cage. Ooe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ooe drops Martins with a beautiful combination! Martins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ooe is looking for the KO!

Martins is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ooe throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Martins crashing down! Martins tries to stagger back to his feet but Ooe just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Martins asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kintarou Ooe!
Kintarou Ooe spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
