Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Toby Quail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toby Quail!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rafael Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Jorge Garcia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez throws a head kick that Quail semi-blocks.
Fernandez gets tackled into the cage by Quail. Quail maintains the clinch.
Fernandez misses with the head strike.
A bit of stalling here from Quail.
Fernandez throws a head punch that misses.
Quail lands a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fernandez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Quail slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Fernandez wants to get back to his feet but Quail is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quail drops back looking for a leg! Fernandez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fernandez manages to kick Quail off! Quail jumps back into Fernandez's guard.
Quail sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Quail chips away with some ground and pound.
Quail working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Fernandez's head.
Quail with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Quail lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Quail scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Fernandez is rocked!
Fernandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Quail. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Quail postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Fernandez is still in real trouble! Can Quail finish him?
Quail loads up on a big left hand. Fernandez felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Quail looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Fernandez can't hide his disappointment, as Quail celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toby Quail!
After winning the bout, Toby Quail thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
