The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall scores with a nice head shot.
Uusisto with a poor takedown
and Hall counters with a leg kick.
Hall fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Uusisto moves out of range as Hall throws a body kick.
Hall comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hall misses with a body shot.
Hall thumps Uusisto with a low kick.
Uusisto misses the jab.
A head kick misses from Hall.
Uusisto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Hall feints and then cracks Uusisto's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Uusisto down.

It looks like Jurmas Uusisto has been cut.
Hall takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Uusisto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
enabling Hall to counter with a crisp jab.
Hall looks to land a left hand but Uusisto moved out of range nicely.
Uusisto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hall on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hall gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hall misses with a straight right.
Uusisto lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Uusisto lands with a kick to the ribs.
A low kick from Hall misses
letting Uusisto counter with a right hand.

Uusisto lands with a nice combination. Hall backs away looking to recover.
Hall lands a lovely overhand right.
Hall throws a looping overhand right but Uusisto ducks down to avoid it.
Uusisto misses with an uppercut. Hall saw that one coming.
Hall lands a nice looking kick to the body. Uusisto takes a step back to recover.
Uusisto moves out of range of the strikes.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Uusisto! But no joy.
Hall scores with a nice right hand.

Uusisto blocks a head kick by Hall.
Uusisto throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hall lands a jab to Uusisto's midsection.

Uusisto moves out of range as Hall throws a body kick.
Uusisto misses with a right hand
and Hall counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Uusisto misses with an uppercut
and Hall counters with a nice uppercut.

Uusisto drives through with a takedown into Hall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Uusisto looking to sit in guard and control but Hall gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Uusisto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hall's back!

Uusisto looking to break Hall's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hall remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Uusisto will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
