The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frederick closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cisnienie quickly recovers to half guard.

Cisnienie manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Frederick keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cisnienie rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Frederick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Frederick tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cisnienie swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A quick step to the side and Frederick tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Frederick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cisnienie sprawls well initially but Frederick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Cisnienie has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Frederick is on him like a limpet, forcing Cisnienie back against the cage.

Frederick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cisnienie walks away with a smile on his face. Frederick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cisnienie.

Cisnienie has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Frederick off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Frederick shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cisnienie's guard.

Frederick shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cisnienie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cisnienie tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
You get the feeling that Cisnienie really doesn't like being in this position too much.
A big strike lands for Frederick! That's really hurt Cisnienie and he's turned his back - Frederick keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Frederick jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
