The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Johan Wolkenkrabber has been cut.
O Brien keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wolkenkrabber looks to land a right hand but O Brien moved out of range.
Wolkenkrabber's hands are dropping dangerously low here and O Brien connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wolkenkrabber scrambles back to his feet.

O Brien fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wolkenkrabber sprawls well initially but O Brien persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

O Brien decides to stand back up. O Brien steps back and let's Wolkenkrabber get back to his feet.

O Brien rushes Wolkenkrabber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

O Brien has hold of one of Wolkenkrabber's legs. Wolkenkrabber is fighting the takedown attempt but O Brien gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Wolkenkrabber has his foot on O Brien's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. O Brien works his way back into a safe position though.

Wolkenkrabber has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. O Brien is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Wolkenkrabber.
