PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Faustino Washington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Graves told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington throws a leg kick that is checked

and Graves counters with a crisp one two that drops Washington! Graves thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Washington to his feet! Washington is in big trouble!

Washington is looking to counter the offense by Graves and move into the clinch.
Washington could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Graves fails in his attempt to clinch.
Washington tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Graves manages to circle out of the way.

Graves gets caught flat footed, as Washington shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Graves is pulling down on Washington's head. It's preventing any offense from Washington, at least for the moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Graves throws a body shot but no joy.

Washington tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Graves manages to circle out of the way.

Graves shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Washington but Washington pushes him off and we're back to square one.
