The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixara stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Teixara wants it to stay on the feet.
Teixara throws out a leg kick but Graves moves out of range and Teixara only half commits.
Graves tries to bum rush Teixara with a series of wild strikes but Teixara uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Teixara scoring well with a low kick there.
Teixara drives through with a takedown into Graves's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Teixara stands up and waves to Graves to follow him.
Teixara looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Teixara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Graves shoots in for a takedown but Teixara shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Graves has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Teixara is on him like a limpet, forcing Graves back against the cage.

Teixara shoots in and bounces Graves off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Graves has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Teixara has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Teixara has control of Graves's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Graves regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well Teixara has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
