The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark Jr shoots in for a double leg but Sackett sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Clark Jr sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sackett scores with a leg kick.
Clark Jr throws a body punch but Sackett moves out of range.
Sackett bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

It looks like Matthew Clark Jr has been cut.
Clark Jr is breathing heavily.
Sackett dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sackett misses with a wild combination.
Sackett lands a leg kick that knocks Clark Jr off balance momentarily.

Sackett feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Clark Jr sprawling to the canvas! Clark Jr rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sackett finish him?!

Clark Jr is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sackett lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Clark Jr up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Sackett from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Clark Jr's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
