The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Morello lands.
Petkovic has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Petkovic there as he acknowledges the shot.
Morello uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Morello closes the distance and clinches.
Morello on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
A left hand lands to the body for Morello.
With the fighters up against the cage, Petkovic throws an elbow but misses.
Morello lands a right hand.
A right handed body shot lands from Morello.
Petkovic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Morello stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Morello prevents a takedown attempt there.
Morello cracks Petkovic with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petkovic is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Morello gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Petkovic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Petkovic changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Morello fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Beleleu Petkovic. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morello cracks Petkovic with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Morello has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Petkovic to stand back up!
