Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, JazzBuzz Yzz!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yzz tries to close the distance and clinch but Riggs swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Yzz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yzz showed some decent athleticism there.
Yzz is trying to control the action in half guard but Riggs is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Yzz seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yzz wants to work for an arm triangle but Riggs is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Yzz wants to free his trapped foot but Riggs is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Yzz connects with a nice short shot to Riggs's temple.

Yzz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riggs manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Riggs wants to improve his position but Yzz is controlling well.

Yzz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Riggs sees it coming and defends easily.
Yzz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Riggs tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Yzz!
