Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewo Banget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jackson Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dewo Banget!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Banget shoots in for a double leg but Brown sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A jab from Brown does it's job there.
Banget rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Brown clobbers Banget with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Banget takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Brown scores with a one two! Banget had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Brown lands a left and a right that send Banget crashing to the mat, dazed. Brown thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


Banget is rocked!
Brown scores with a shot to the body.
Banget is still on wobbly legs! Can Brown finish him?
Brown sizes up Banget with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Brown scores with a jab to the jaw.
Banget tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Banget seems to have recovered his senses.
Brown fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Banget on the side of the head.
Brown scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Banget doesn't seem bothered though.
Good standup being displayed there by Brown as he connects with a hook.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown with a nice cross.
A left lands for Brown.
Brown throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Banget slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
Brown throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Banget on the side of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Brown stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Banget shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brown as he avoids it easily.
Banget walks into a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Brown lands a big right hand that sends Banget crashing to the mat! Brown stays standing though and waves Banget back to his feet!

Banget bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brown parries the strikes from Banget easily there. Banget is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Brown to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banget cracks Brown with a big elbow.
Brown takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Banget tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Banget thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Banget tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Banget has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Banget is staying tight to Brown's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Banget working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Brown is looking for a sweep.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Banget controls the position from side control.
Let's hope that Banget has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Brown is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Banget controlling from side mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Banget in side control, throwing shots but Brown defends.
Banget fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Banget working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Brown prevents Banget from improving position.
Banget has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Banget wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jackson Brown dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Banget looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Banget doesn't seem phased though.
Brown connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Banget takes a jab right on the kisser.
Brown connects with a body shot that sends Banget's belly button to the back.
Donk. Brown catches Banget right on the button with a cross.

Brown lands a left and a right that send Banget crashing to the mat, dazed. Brown thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Banget tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brown connects with a superb combination that knocks Banget out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Brown before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Banget!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jackson Brown!
After winning the bout, Jackson Brown thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
