Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ali has chosen Unsettling Difference as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Ali!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ali.
Ali should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ali misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drago.
Drago moves out of range of the strikes.
A counter left hand to the body from Drago misses its target.
Ali avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ali goes for a double leg but Drago avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Drago continues to drive forward.
Ali fails with a takedown attempt.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Ali.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Drago.
Ali tries to improve position but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drago scores with punches from side control.

Drago tries for a kimura but Ali is defending well.
Drago definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ali is looking to reverse the position.

Ali tries to buck Drago off but Drago is having none of it.

Drago is trying to get an arm triangle but Ali is defending well.

Drago stands up and beckons Ali to his feet.

Drago closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Ali kicks Drago off and gets back to his feet.
Ali throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Drago stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ali takes a swing at Drago's ribcage but misses.
Drago stalks Ali and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ali's face. Ali staggers backwards, shaken.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Drago throws a powerful right kick. Ali tried to block low but the kick was high! Ali was taken right off of his feet! Drago jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
