Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Johnson Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eon Kane!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson Jr moves into range and clinches up with Kane.
Kane controlling the action here for a moment.
A short uppercut from Johnson Jr.
Johnson Jr wants a takedown.
Johnson Jr tries to circle away but Kane has him pinned against the cage.
Kane is working for takedown but Johnson Jr is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kane is trying to drag Johnson Jr to the mat but Johnson Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Johnson Jr decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kane gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kane. Johnson Jr shrugs it off though.
Johnson Jr closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kane sneaks out the side door and pushes Johnson Jr away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kane tries to clinch up but Johnson Jr circles away and keeps his distance.
Kane fails with a takedown attempt.
Michael Johnson Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eon Kane.
Kane looks winded!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson Jr lands an overhand right.
Michael Johnson Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kane tries to move into range but Johnson Jr moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Johnson Jr lands a big uppercut and Kane crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kane looks OK. Johnson Jr waves Kane back to his feet!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kane gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Johnson Jr gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Kane is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Michael Johnson Jr!
A less than humble Michael Johnson Jr misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
