Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between CJ Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Jel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Jel!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone wants to clinch.

Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stone seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Stone trying to control the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone throwing shots but Jel is blocking nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jel controlling the position for now.

Stone stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Stone goes for a double leg but Jel avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jel continues to drive forward.
Jel is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Jel stalks Stone and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stone's face. Stone staggers backwards, shaken.
Jel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.
Jel misses with a few strikes there.
Stone half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Stone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jel will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stone is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jel.
Jel swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jel misses with a series of wild punches.
Stone throws a big counter combination but Jel scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Stone tries to clinch but Jel moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone throws a shot from downtown. Jel moves away and avoids it.
Stone throws a looping overhand right but Jel ducks down to avoid it.
Stone tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jel defends well and Stone ends up having to push Jel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CJ Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jel pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Stone back to the cage. Jel follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wojtek Jel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Stone shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jel as he jumps to the side.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stone. Jel does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jel throws a right and a left that both miss.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch but Jel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jel!

Stone has managed to clinch.

Stone jumps into guard, dragging Jel to the mat.

Jel stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Stone has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Jel manages to get his head free but now Stone has transitioned to an armbar! Jel grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Stone! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
