Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Danial Whitney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Palya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitney keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Palya closes the distance and pushes Whitney back into the cage.

Whitney manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Palya drops back looking for a leg! Whitney is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Whitney manages to kick Palya off! Palya jumps back into Whitney's guard.

Palya works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Whitney wants to control but Palya is keeping busy.
Palya is taking a breather. Whitney says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Palya is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Whitney is just riding it out for now. Palya eventually gives up the hold.

Palya is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
