Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dewo Banget (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Molloy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dewo Banget!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Molloy!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molloy fails with the takedown.

Molloy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Banget's guard.
Banget is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Molloy slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Molloy working the strikes but Banget uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Molloy tries to pass to full mount but Banget defends it.
Banget holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.

Molloy controlling the pace.

Molloy decides to return to a standing position.

Molloy closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Banget quickly recovers to half guard.
Molloy wants to take a breather but Banget is having none of it.
Banget is looking for a sweep. Molloy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Banget actively working from the bottom here.
Banget definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Molloy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Banget keeps working.

Banget is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Molloy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Banget makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Banget.
Banget keeping moving, preventing Molloy from controlling successfully.
Molloy looking to sit in guard and control but Banget gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Molloy is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Banget would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Molloy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Banget throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Molloy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Banget is pushing down on Molloy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Molloy is fighting to maintain full guard but Banget has managed to sneak the leg through.
Banget is looking to take a break and control but Molloy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Molloy can do anything to dispel that myth.

Molloy wants to get back to full guard.

Molloy is trying to stand back up but Banget is controlling him
Banget wants to pass the guard but Molloy is defending well.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Molloy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Banget. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Banget not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Molloy is looking to escape.

Banget is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Banget takes a swing at Molloy's ribcage but misses.

Molloy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Banget's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

A close round but Mark Molloy will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

You can see the frustration on Molloy's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Banget postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Molloy can't do much from the bottom here.
Molloy tries to bench press Banget off him but Banget keeps the position.
Molloy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Molloy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Banget.

Banget is looking for a kimura here.
Molloy wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banget is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Banget thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Molloy's head.
Molloy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Banget is working away from the top position though.
Banget passes the guard and advances to mount!

Banget jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Molloy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Molloy and Banget has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Molloy is not content to let Banget control the position.

Molloy manages to get back to half guard.
Molloy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Banget seems to be looking for submissions.
Molloy is looking to control Banget's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Molloy avoid being mounted?
Banget is looking to take a break and control but Molloy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Banget is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Molloy is just riding it out for now. Banget eventually gives up the hold.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Molloy is looking for a sweep. Banget is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Banget is keen to just control but Molloy is a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Molloy gets a clinch.
Molloy misses with a hook from the clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Molloy prevents the takedown attempt.
Banget wants to take the fight to the mat but Molloy manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Molloy is trying to maintain a safe position but Banget gets an underhook and turns Molloy into the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dewo Banget will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A head punch on the inside from Banget fails to land.
Molloy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Banget just stands there and leans against the cage.
Molloy jumps guard but Banget stands there with Molloy around his waist. Molloy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Molloy is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Banget to keep the fight standing.
Dewo Banget has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Molloy.
Banget wants a takedown but no success here.
Banget tries for a takedown but Molloy manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Banget is trying to push Molloy away but Molloy has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Molloy wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Molloy wants to take the fight to the mat but Banget manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Molloy gets control of Banget's arms and successfully pulls guard. Molloy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Molloy is trying to keep Banget in close.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Molloy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Banget keeps the fight on the outside.
Banget tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Molloy manages to circle out of the way.
Dewo Banget is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Banget gets tackled into the cage by Molloy. Molloy maintains the clinch.
Molloy is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Molloy is working for takedown but Banget is calmly controlling the position for now.

Banget successfully pulls guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Banget is on top in guard.


Molloy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Banget throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Molloy is trying to control the position but Banget postures up.
Banget trying to control the position from guard on top but Molloy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Banget accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Banget looking to sit in guard and control but Molloy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Molloy wants to control from the top but Banget keeps moving.
Molloy postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dewo Banget.
I think Banget has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dewo Banget spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
