The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spliffton connects with a leg kick. Parsons looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Parsons avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Spliffton throws a shot to the body.
Spliffton avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Parsons shoots in for a double leg but Spliffton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Spliffton lands the left hand.
Parsons throws a hook but Spliffton blocks it.
Spliffton connects with a single shot there.
Horrible takedown attempt by Parsons or perhaps it was just good defense by Spliffton, which made it look bad.

Spliffton seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Spliffton sizes up Parsons with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Spliffton lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Parsons misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Spliffton is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Parsons.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spliffton fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Parsons looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Spliffton feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Parsons's calf.
Spliffton Throws a clean left jab. Spliffton Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Parsons's chin! Parsons crumbles to the ground and Spliffton follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Spliffton!
