McManus's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Scotland The Brave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McManus throws a right hand that Gracie ducks under and follows up with a left that Gracie also avoids with ease.

McManus cracks Gracie with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gracie looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McManus finish him?

It looks like Lucia Gracie has been cut.
McManus throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
McManus misses with a hook

and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gracie is looking for a kimura but McManus is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gracie to get the leverage.
Gracie is pressing down on McManus's thigh, looking to free his foot. McManus is holding on for now.
McManus tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but McManus is holding on for dear life with his legs.

McManus manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Gracie keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

McManus has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gracie is trying to keep an underhook but McManus manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Gracie looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Gracie is looking to control McManus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Gracie avoid being mounted?
McManus is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Gracie keeping hold of McManus's head, controlling as best he can.

McManus stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Gracie to get to his feet.

McManus lands a left and a right that send Gracie crashing to the mat, dazed. McManus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gracie is rocked!
McManus connects with a superb combination that knocks Gracie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles McManus before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gracie !
