The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moco moves into the clinch.
Mcbride with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Mcbride is trying to maintain a safe position but Moco gets an underhook and turns Mcbride into the cage.
Mcbride is trying to force a seperation but Moco has the dominant position.
Mcbride blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
A right hook to the body lands for Moco.
Mcbride misses with a hook from the clinch.
Mcbride throws an elbow but it misses.
Mcbride wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Mcbride throws a punch but it's blocked by Moco.

Moco wants the takedown. Mcbride is fighting it off but Moco persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mcbride's guard against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moco has picked Mcbride up - he's going for a ride! Moco dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mcbride tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Moco manages to move to mount!

Moco moves into range and clinches up with Mcbride.
Moco scores with a hook to the body.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mcbride.
Moco is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Mcbride takes a shot to the head.
Mcbride really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcbride tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Moco's elbow.

Moco has Mcbride pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Moco pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Mcbride tumbling to the mat - Moco dives into Mcbride's guard.

Let's hope that Moco has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moco is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Moco perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Mcbride trying to get back to full guard but Moco takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!

Moco's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Moco breaks from Mcbride's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Mcbride tries to lock up and control but Moco gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Moco lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Lonje Moco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Moco is pushing down on Mcbride's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mcbride is fighting to maintain full guard but Moco has managed to sneak the leg through.

Well Moco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
