Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Falaris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PATRICK LUIZ DIAS (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, PATRICK LUIZ DIAS!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DIAS is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Falaris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
DIAS shoots in but no luck this time.

DIAS keeping moving, preventing Falaris from controlling successfully.
Falaris will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

DIAS has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Falaris uses from the top position.

DIAS fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Falaris sprawls well initially but DIAS persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Marcus Falaris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
DIAS goes for a takedown attempt but Falaris pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
DIAS shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Falaris as he avoids it easily.
DIAS takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Falaris counters with a big head kick but DIAS shrugs it off.
PATRICK LUIZ DIAS has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Falaris tries to keep at a distance but DIAS has taken the fight into the clinch.

Marcus Falaris showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Falaris, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
