The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman looks to score with a jab to the body but Arshavin is just out of range.
Arshavin throws a jab when Foreman was well out of range.
Foreman wants to clinch up but Arshavin keeps it at a distance.
Foreman misses with a head kick.
Arshavin unleashes a big counter combination but Foreman bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Andy Foreman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Arshavin has Foreman pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Arshavin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Foreman tumbling to the mat - Arshavin dives into Foreman's guard.

Arshavin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Foreman misses with a double jab.

Arshavin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Arshavin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Foreman is looking to get back to his feet here but Arshavin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Foreman's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
