Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carter Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jayne comes to the cage accompanied by Special Ed - I'm The Magnificent. Patrick Jayne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Carter Martin's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jayne moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Martin - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jayne fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Martin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jayne cracks Martin with an open hand slap.
Martin throws an overhand right that lands on Jayne's shoulder, as Jayne tries to avoid the shot.
Jayne tries to counter with a takedown but Martin is quick to defend against it.

Jayne has closed the distance and engaged Martin in a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Jayne.
Martin lands a hook to the side of the head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Jayne just leaning against Martin, taking a breather.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jayne misses with the head strike.
Jayne working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Jayne tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Martin blocks an uppercut.
Jayne lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Martin backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jayne fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jayne throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Martins head.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jayne manages to break the clinch.
Jayne tries to close the distance and clinch but Martin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jayne stalks Martin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Martin's face. Martin staggers backwards, shaken.

Martin is rocked!
A cross from Jayne lands.
Martin is still on wobbly legs! Can Jayne finish him?
Martin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Martin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jayne finds it's way round the side to connect with Martin's head.
Martin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jayne steps in with a hook that catches Martin right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Jayne follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Martin looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Jayne!
