Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lefteris Samaras!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ike The Genius !
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Genius takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Samaras is looking to slow The Genius down with leg kicks.
The Genius takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
The Genius is looking to clinch but Samaras is avoiding it.
The Genius misses with an uppercut.
Nice straight punches there by Samaras. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Samaras.
The Genius throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sloppy strikes from Samaras. Those never looked like landing.
The Genius tries to counter by closing the distance.
The Genius closes the distance looking to clinch
and Samaras connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lefteris Samaras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The Genius walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Samaras ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The Genius fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Samaras, pushing him back against the cage.
Samaras has The Genius pressed against the cage.
Samaras lands a left hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Samaras has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed The Genius clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Samaras is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Samaras working for a choke but The Genius is defending well.

Samaras has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, The Genius has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Samaras not allowing The Genius to control his hands.
The Genius really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Samaras. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Samaras is working for a rear naked choke. The Genius is not defending it well and Samaras has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! The Genius refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of The Genius 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lefteris Samaras!
