Albert comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack!. Boris Yeltsin looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albert shoots in and bounces Yeltsin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Yeltsin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Yeltsin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Albert can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Albert wants to pass the guard but Yeltsin is keeping the position.
Albert slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Albert wants to control but Yeltsin is keeping him busy.
Albert in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
It looks like Boris Yeltsin has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Yeltsin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Albert thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Albert connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Yeltsin some visible discomfort.

That has opened up Boris Yeltsin's cut even more.
Yeltsin bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Yeltsin has momentary wrist control but Albert slips an elbow through the middle.
Yeltsin is looking for a triangle but Albert pushes his legs off easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Yeltsin shoots in but Albert avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Yeltsin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Albert!
Albert is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Albert is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Albert is looking to improve his position but Yeltsin isn't that keen on the idea.

Yeltsin is staying active underneath Albert, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Albert tries to pass the half guard into mount. Yeltsin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Albert stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yeltsin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Yeltsin looks to score with a jab to the body but Albert is just out of range.
Albert throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yeltsin's waist but Yeltsin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Albert off to one side.

Albert wants to free his trapped foot but Yeltsin is holding on for dear life with his legs.
