Cassidy's entrance music is Bring Me The Horizon - Can You Feel My Heart. A fine choice. Cassidy is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Rick Cassidy could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Charlie Terkey's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Charlie Terkey!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Terkey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cassidy looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Terkey's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Terkey is pushing down on Cassidy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cassidy is fighting to maintain full guard but Terkey has managed to sneak the leg through.
Terkey slips a nice elbow through Cassidy's hands, connecting with Cassidy's forehead.

Terkey's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Terkey winds up and cracks Cassidy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Terkey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cassidy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Terkey in particular looking to stall.
Cassidy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Terkey moves nicely into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Terkey scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Cassidy to see if he's OK.

Terkey is staying tight to Cassidy's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Cassidy is pushing Terkey's head away, looking to escape. Terkey manages to hold on to the position though.
Cassidy is not content to let Terkey control the position.

Terkey is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cassidy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Terkey scores with a couple of short elbows.
Cassidy takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Terkey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Terkey remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Terkey is looking to take a break and control but Cassidy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Terkey has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Terkey wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cassidy keeps working.

Terkey is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cassidy looks calm but he's in trouble here. Terkey gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cassidy is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Terkey lets go of the hold and Cassidy can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Charlie Terkey!
In defeat, Rick Cassidy stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want to apologise to everyone who came to see me tonight and i hope to do you proud next time and il have learnt from my mistakes, thats a promise'.
