Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Page!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rock Allen!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Allen gets a takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Page is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Allen thows a huge punch but Page dodges it nicely.
Allen is working for a submission of some sort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen escapes and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Page lands a lovely overhand right.
A head kick misses from Page.
Page swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Allen counters with a one-two to the body.
Allen throws a chopping leg kick but Page manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Page motions for Allen to come forward. Page throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A low kick from Page is predictable there
and Allen counters with a two punch combo.
Page is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Allen.
Page scores with a sloppy right hand. Allen should have avoided that one.
Page throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Allen.
A head kick misses from Page.
Page throws a lazy head kick
and Allen counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Page!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Page is not content to let Allen control the position.
Page wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Allen has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Page's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Page is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Allen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Rock Allen!
After winning the bout, Rock Allen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
