Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maksymilian Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Assassin Sokoudjou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Assassin Sokoudjou will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Assassin Sokoudjou!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Assassin Sokoudjou has been cut.
Sokoudjou throws a head kick that misses.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Sokoudjou keeps moving.
Gracie stops Sokoudjou from standing up.
Gracie slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sokoudjou looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gracie is pressing down on Sokoudjou's thigh, looking to free his foot. Sokoudjou is holding on for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sokoudjou defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Sokoudjou is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!

After the fight, Maksymilian Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
