The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Tykki counters with a nice low kick that buckles John's knee momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from John. Tykki does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tykki scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
John fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tykki lands a nice leg kick that just misses John's sensitive parts.
John is looking to clinch.
Nice body kick from Tykki.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tykki scores with a leg kick.
Tykki paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Jimmey John has been cut.
John takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Tykki jabs John to the body, keeping him at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
John moves to clinch but Tykki breaks away
and Tykki counters with a one-two to the body.
John darts in looking for a takedown but Tykki gets double underhooks and turns John into the cage.
Tykki with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A cross from Tykki lands.
John throws a series of punches but Tykki avoids them all with ease.
John shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tykki pinned against the cage. Tykki gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vihainen Tykki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmey John.
John looks winded!

and Tykki counters with a crisp right that sends John to the canvas! Tykki follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
