Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Hannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Will Hannon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Steven Evans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Hannon! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hannon tries to clinch but Evans is having none of it. Evans jabbing away but nothing is landing. Evans needs to keep his hands up - Hannon had a free shot at his head there. Hannon takes the fight into the clinch. Evans misses with a short punch on the inside. A frustrated look appears on Evans's face as he tries to break the clinch. Evans is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Hannon can't fight it off and eventually Evans manages to take the fight to the floor. Hannon looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Evans is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Evans lands a couple of elbows. Evans throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans is working Hannon over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Hannon wants to get back to his feet but Evans is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Evans is standing up over Hannon. Hannon looks to escape but Evans dives into side control.
Evans lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. You can see the frustration on Hannon's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ground and pound from Evans seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Hannon tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Evans wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Evans is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hannon's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans working the head with strikes. Hannon wants to control but Evans postures up. A lull in the action here. Hannon struggling a bit here. Evans wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hannon keeps working. Evans is working Hannon over with some ground and pound from side control. The referee asks Evans politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Evans prefers to stall for the moment though. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Evans looks up at the clock and then as Hannon takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Evans smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hannon is looking to reverse the position. Evans staying calm. Evans connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Hannon some visible discomfort.
Evans takes a little break here. Hannon wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Evans scoring with punches and elbows. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Hannon regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Evans working the head and body with strikes. Evans is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Evans winds up and cracks Hannon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Evans takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Evans is nestled in close to Hannon, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Evans missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hannon pushes Evans off looking to stand but Evans dives back in and keeps control.
Evans looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hannon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Evans is taking a breather. Hannon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Evans winds up and cracks Hannon with a swinging punch to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steven Evans dominated that round. That's time! Evans's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hannon fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Evans on the side of the head. Hannon looks to land a combination. Evans sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Steven Evans has been cut. Hannon tries to clinch up but Evans circles away and keeps his distance. Hannon connects with a single shot there. Hannon scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Hannon moves in looking to clinch but Evans pushes him off. Hannon is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Evans throws a right and a left that both miss. A big left from Evans misses. Evans on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Evans looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hannon! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Evans cracks Hannon with a big right hand but Hannon just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Evans scores with a couple of short elbows. Evans moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Evans working away. Hannon tries to improve position but can't. Hannon pushes Evans away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Evans gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Evans content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Hannon takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Hannon tries to improve position but can't. Evans is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hannon can do to turn this around? Hannon takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Oh Hannon is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Evans can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steven Evans! In his post fight interview, Steven Evans started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
