Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Callen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Durden is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyler Durden!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryan Callen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Durden manages to avoid it.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Durden.

Callen throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nice sprawl there from Callen as Durden shoots in.
Callen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Durden stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Durden looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Durden shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Callen sprawls well. Callen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Durden gets slowly back to his feet.
Durden has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Durden there as he acknowledges the shot.
Callen misses the shot to the body.
Durden is looking to clinch but Callen is avoiding it.

Callen throws a series of strikes that have Durden backpedaling.
Durden tries to clinch up.

Durden gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Durden keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Callen's efforts to push away.

Callen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Durden's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Callen throws a jab when Durden was well out of range.

Callen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Durden.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch but Callen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Durden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Callen swats away the attempt to clinch by Durden.
Callen is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Durden tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Callen counters with a straight right hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Callen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Callen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Callen scores with the left hand. Durden knows he should have avoided that one.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Callen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Callen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Durden moves away.
Durden dives in and grabs Callen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Callen pushes down on Durden's head and hops out.
A little jabbing left from Callen on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Callen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
As Callen looks to move away, Durden throws a big counter combo bu Callen just gets out of the way.
Callen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Durden backs up against the cage.
Durden lands with a nice combination. Callen backs away looking to recover.

Callen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Durden to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Callen looks winded!
Durden trying to control the position from guard on top but Callen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Callen wants to get back to his feet but Durden is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Durden cracks Callen with a solid left hand.

Durden thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Durden missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've been informed that Callen has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Callen is pulling down on Durden's head. It's preventing any offense from Durden, at least for the moment.
Durden is looking to work some ground and pound but Callen has wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Callen cracks Durden with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Durden darts in looking for a takedown but Callen gets double underhooks and turns Durden into the cage.
Durden slips a straight right by Callen.
As Callen backs away, Durden returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Callen.
Nice sprawl there from Callen as Durden shoots in.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bryan Callen dominated that round.
That's time! Durden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Durden.
Callen lands a jab-cross combination.
Callen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Durden tries to close the distance and clinch but Callen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Callen throws a shot from downtown. Durden moves away and avoids it.
Callen scores with a punch to the head.
Callen misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Callen sizes up Durden with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Durden scores with a one two! Callen had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Callen has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Good work by Callen as he checks the leg kick.

Durden shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Callen as he jumps to the side.

Durden shoots in and bounces Callen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Callen is looking to stand up but Durden isn't so interested in that idea.
Callen manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Durden manages to get himself to full guard.

Callen in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Callen is in close to Durden's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Callen lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Durden wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Callen won't allow Durden to sweep him here.

Callen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Callen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Callen is pressed up against the cage. Durden has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Callen down to the mat. Callen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Callen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bryan Callen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Durden throws a series of punches but Callen avoids them all with ease.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Callen! But no joy.

Callen clobbers Durden with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Durden shoots in looking for a takedown. Callen tries to sprawl out of it but Durden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Callen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Callen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Durden's guard.

Durden tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Callen defends well and Durden ends up having to push Callen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Callen checks a leg kick.
Bryan Callen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Durden has closed the distance and engaged Callen in a clinch.
Durden prevents the takedown attempt.

Callen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Durden backs up against the cage.
Bryan Callen is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Durden throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Callen's waist but Callen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durden off to one side.
Durden looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bryan Callen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Callen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
