Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Wates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micah Ilyak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Wates!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Micah Ilyak!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilyak tries to clinch but Wates is having none of it.
Wates half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Ilyak stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ilyak wants it to stay on the feet.

Ilyak forces Wates back against the cage and clinches.
Ilyak lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ilyak comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

It looks like George Wates has been cut.
Wates is looking to break free of the clinch but Ilyak has double underhooks.
Wates throws a knee to the head but misses.
Wates avoiding damage as Ilyak throws knees to the body.

Ilyak drops Wates onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Wates is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Wates is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ilyak throws a massive elbow that rocks Wates's head back - Wates crumples to the floor and this one is all over! Not often you see a KO via an elbow but that was a huge shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Elbow). Micah Ilyak!
