Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lesley Durham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Fenstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lesley Durham!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rob Fenstar!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fenstar lands a head kick. Durham smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Lesley Durham has been cut.

Fenstar forces Durham back against the cage and clinches.

Fenstar breaks the clinch.
Durham slips a jab and a cross from Fenstar.

Fenstar gets a double leg takedown into Durham's guard.
Fenstar tries to free his leg and advance position but Durham is retaining full guard.
Durham throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fenstar accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Durham looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Durham is working an open guard so Fenstar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Rob Fenstar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fenstar fails with a takedown attempt.

Fenstar punishes Durham's body with a nice straight punch.
Fenstar doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Durham moves into the clinch.
Come on Durham - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Fenstar escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Durham leaves Fenstar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Durham wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Durham takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Durham keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Durham wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Durham has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Durham tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Durham misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Durham is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Fenstar to keep the fight standing.
Fenstar lands a left hand that snaps the head of Durham backwards.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Durham jumps guard but Fenstar turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Fenstar lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Durham or not.
Durham struggles to land a body shot inside as Fenstar controls his hands.

Fenstar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fenstar shoots in looking for a takedown. Durham tries to sprawl out of it but Fenstar keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Durham manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Durham drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fenstar sprawls and moves away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Fenstar.

Fenstar rushes Durham and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Fenstar dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lesley Durham's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Durham tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fenstar defends well and Durham ends up having to push Fenstar into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fenstar tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Fenstar looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Fenstar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Durham is looking to escape.
Fenstar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Fenstar keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Durham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Durham strikes from the bottom but Fenstar uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Fenstar stands up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fenstar misses with a jab, cross combination.
Durham drops down looking for a counter takedown but Fenstar sprawls and moves away.
Fenstar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Durham circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Durham misses its target.
Fenstar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Durham tries to avoid it but Fenstar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Durham to the ground. Durham escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Durham seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Fenstar is breathing heavily.
Fenstar shoots in and drives through. Durham sprawls well.
As Fenstar tries to get set, Durham tries to push him back and clinch up but Fenstar manages to avoid the attempt.
Fenstar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durham but Durham pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Fenstar throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Durham is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fenstar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Fenstar tries to clinch up.
Durham is looking to counter with head kicks.
Fenstar throws a front kick aimed at Durham's knee but Durham avoids it well.
Fenstar fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fenstar is defended easily by Durham.
Fenstar tries for a takedown but Durham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Durham throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Durham throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fenstar throws a series of strikes that have Durham backpedaling.
Durham lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fenstar circles away quickly and effectively.

Fenstar tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Fenstar tries to pull guard but Durham won't allow it.

Rob Fenstar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Fenstar doesn't succeed with the takedown

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Durham seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Fenstar takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Fenstar dives in and grabs Durham's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durham pushes down on Fenstar's head and hops out.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Fenstar closes the distance and clinches.

Fenstar lands a good knee to the midsection. Durham won't want to take too many of those.
Durham tries a body shot but Fenstar blocks it.
Fenstar jumps guard but Durham stands there with Fenstar around his waist. Fenstar gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fenstar has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Durham after a bit of a struggle.

Fenstar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Durham moves away.
Fenstar tries for a takedown but Durham sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fenstar tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Durham manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As Fenstar tries to get set, Durham tries to push him back and clinch up but Fenstar manages to avoid the attempt.

and Durham counters with a big head kick but Fenstar shrugs it off.
Fenstar blocks the body kick.
Fenstar darts in looking for a takedown but Durham gets double underhooks and turns Fenstar into the cage.
Durham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fenstar manages to avoid it.

Durham shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fenstar's guard.
Fenstar is looking to stand back up but Durham counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fenstar.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Fenstar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Durham.

Lesley Durham showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Fenstar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
