Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casanov Puncher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlos Gray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Casanov Puncher!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puncher jabs Gray to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Puncher throws a head kick but Gray moves out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Puncher or perhaps it was just good defense by Gray, which made it look bad.

Puncher closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Gray tries to get to full guard but Puncher has control of the leg.
Gray gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puncher trying to control but Gray is working from the bottom.

Gray looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Puncher's corner is telling him to maintain position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Puncher trying to control the position from guard on top but Gray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Puncher stands up and waves to Gray to follow him.
Puncher throws a push kick but Gray slaps the foot to one side.
Gray seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Puncher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Puncher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gray pinned against the cage. Gray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Puncher clinches with his opponent.
Gray tries to score a body lock takedown but Puncher shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Gray prevents Puncher from breaking the clinch.
Gray tries to pull guard but Puncher forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Puncher is pressed up against the cage. Gray has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Puncher down to the mat. Puncher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gray tries to keep at a distance but Puncher has taken the fight into the clinch.

Puncher dives in and grabs Gray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gray pushes down on Puncher's head and hops out.
Gray tries to counter by clinching up but Puncher breaks away and moves out of range.
Puncher misses with a body kick.
Puncher motions for Gray to come forward. Puncher throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Puncher fails to land the takedown.
Gray is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Puncher.

Puncher tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Gray smiles and moves away.
Puncher misses with a head kick.
Puncher tries a head kick but it misses.
As Puncher looks to move away, Gray throws a big counter combo bu Puncher just gets out of the way.
Puncher swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Gray shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Puncher manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Puncher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gray throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Casanov Puncher will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gray's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Puncher pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Gray appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Gray keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Puncher's head.

Gray drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Puncher dives on top into guard.

Gray might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Puncher's guard.

Puncher looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Gray would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gray wants to control from the top but Puncher keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Puncher.
Gray stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gray wants it to stay on the feet.
Carlos Gray is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Puncher is breathing heavily.
Puncher throws a sloppy head kick and Gray moves out of range easily.
As Puncher tries to get set, Gray tries to push him back and clinch up but Puncher manages to avoid the attempt.
Puncher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gray's waist but Gray gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Puncher off to one side.
Gray went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gray postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gray decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Puncher wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Puncher has taken the fight to the clinch.
Gray is working for takedown but Puncher is calmly controlling the position for now.

Gray successfully pulls guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gray goes for a takedown attempt but Puncher pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Puncher has managed to clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Puncher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carlos Gray.
I think Gray has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
