Kriel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Book lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Book.
Book pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Book darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kriel is concentrating on defense, preventing Book from advancing position.
Kriel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Book is working away from the top position though.
Book wants to pass the guard but Kriel is defending well.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Book is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Book is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kriel gets his way!

Kriel is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Book knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Book for a finish.
