The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nemanjic gets a takedown into half guard.
Nemanjic is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cook is just riding it out for now. Nemanjic eventually gives up the hold.
Nemanjic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cook sees it coming and defends easily.

Cook has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Nemanjic is on him like a limpet, forcing Cook back against the cage.

Cook wants to get back to striking at distance but Nemanjic won't allow it.

Nemanjic wants to take the fight to the mat but Cook manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Cook's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Nemanjic drops back, looking for a kneebar! Cook looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Cook looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Cook!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cook lands a decent elbow from side control.
You can see the frustration on Nemanjic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Cook in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Nemanjic is bucking up trying to escape but Cook cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Nemanjic takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

BOOM! Cook connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nemanjic tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Cook counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cook chips away with some ground and pound.
Nemanjic looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cook is defending well. Nemanjic quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cook has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nemanjic celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
