Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mon Vin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Magalhaes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Vin feints and as Magalhaes raises his hands in defense, Vin changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Magalhaes is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Vin told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

Magalhaes breaks from the clinch.
Vin misses with a takedown attempt - Magalhaes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Joao Magalhaes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mon Vin.

Vin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vin dives in for a single leg takedown but Magalhaes sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

No joy there for Vin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Vin wants to stand and escape but instead Magalhaes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Magalhaes is trying to keep Vin in close.

Magalhaes is working an open guard so Vin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Vin lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Magalhaes sprawling to the canvas. Vin follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Magalhaes hang on?

Magalhaes is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Magalhaes tries to roll over but Vin keeps him under control.
Oh Magalhaes is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Magalhaes defends it well.

Vin stands up out of the half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joao Magalhaes will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Vin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magalhaes tries to avoid it but Vin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magalhaes to the ground. Magalhaes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As Vin looks to move away, Magalhaes throws a big counter combo bu Vin just gets out of the way.
Joao Magalhaes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mon Vin.
Vin lands with a right that hurts Magalhaes . Magalhaes looks to clinch but Vin throws a short knee that drops Magalhaes . This one is all over!
